The F150 I bought has the three year smart nav for 800. Not sure if its worth it, but it does work well.

You will still have nav, you just wont have some of the smart features like traffic.

There is this company called Google. They can help you out. Maybe you've heard of them?

Yes, some services from some sources cost money. Like, I will only listen to music with no DJ's, no commercials, no ads, nothing but songs themselves. For that, I have to pay. When the truck was new it had the "no ads" ads Sirius but then even that expired.

First world problems.

The map fix costs $0 though...

Also if you look into the speeds traveled for those EPA numbers Id bet you've never cruised for long at that low speed - test is something like 10 minutes long and the average speed is a touch under 50mph
I just want to comment that my hybrid has 24,000 miles on it, and I am currently averaging 22.3 on the current tank, and my last trip at 45-55 that was only 10 minutes was 26 MPG.

I have achieved 23.* MPG over 1-2 tanks of fuel, which was real world driving.

if you drive 65 you WILL get 24 MPG. Up to about 69-70 you will still get a tad under 24 MPG.

The problem I find is warm up before engine is at normal temp causes the engine to burn through almost 2x the fuel. Once the truck warms up it gets leak economy. But if you only drive for 10-15 minutes 1 way, then the truck cools and you crank it and drive back where you started, then you end up having multiple short length engine runs that are tuned extra rich to get the CATS fired up.

If I just let the adaptive cruise accelerate and decelerate the truck on any trip, it almost always gets 22-24. I have the 4x4.

My very expensive navigation system no longer works for the same reason. Was not told about this when I purchased the truck. Have driven an F-150 for the past 35 years but never will again. It’s disgusting and sleazy business practice at best. Can’t use the hands free method to enter an address as I could on my previous models. That means Ford is willing to compromise my safety for their greed. Great plan to rake in extra bucks.....see how well you do with me!
