Default Odd Sync Setting... What does it do?

So I was test driving a 2022 Platinum Powerboost. Checking out the options. Found "Valet Zone Limits."

Searched the forums. Searched 3 printed manuals (2021 #1, 2021 #2, 2022) and the online F150 manual. Can only find one occurrence of "Valet" in the 2022 manual. No mention of this option.

What does it do? Anyone else have a 2022 Platinum to test this out? Anyone else have this option show up after an update?

Wow, you were not kidding. I am good at checking Google and here I am thinking, this guy doesn't know how to check Google.. and I could NOT even find anything on it!

No wonder this one is quiet, LOL. Nobody can find out either. Best of luck though!

I'm not sure I understand the question.

If you mean there are features disabled as part of a Valet Mode, that means that mode would be useful if you use a parking Valet so they can't go "Ferris Buellers Day Off" with your truck.

Yea. This one has me stumped. Must be a new F150 double secret feature/function. For grins I even searched the FORSCAN spreadsheet ... maybe I could turn it on and try it. Can't find "Valet" in the spreadsheet either.

Need to find someone with a 2022 Platinum and have them check it out.

My question is .. what does toggling this selection do? When off behavior is x. When on behavior is y.

From the name I guess it has something to do with valet mode.... But this doesn't turn valet mode off or on....

I know on some cars, it's limited at 55mph with valet mode on.

Yes. The "Zone" thing is intriguing. Can I limit valet functions to a certain area or zone? Zipcode? 10 mile radius from 30.4432664,-97.8177609 .. a local Starbucks.

Now that would be cool.

I have that setting on my 502A.

I couldn’t see where or how to set the defined area though.

I believe some or all of the modules can be set to different modes. For instance, I’ve heard of transport mode that reduces battery drain. I think various modules also have factory mode. Perhaps there is some mode that this setting is active in. (Maybe it keeps the guys in the factory from hot rodding). No idea how you would tell, though. Or possibly it’s a feature not active in the USA and somehow the setting is wrong? I have not seen this, or seen reference to this feature.
