Good idea. I checked the Lincoln owners manual. No mention.

Not sure how to know if the F150 was in factory/transport mode.... systems including bluecruise work as they should. But since @Jaystn62@DuneRunr have vehicles with this option displayed and you have seen a Navigator with it then Ford is delivering vehicles with this feature.. that nobody seems to know what it does! Fascinating.

What is even more astounding to me is that the combined genius of the forum members here don't know what it does.

 

I can turn it on and test it.

My problem is I work from home and rarely need to drive my truck 😁 Maybe I’ll try and test it today.

So I took my truck for a spin today. Before I left the house, I made sure the Valet zone limits setting was on, and then I enabled valet mode.

I left and drove approx 12 miles. Some of that included freeway driving where I hit 75+ mph. Nothing popped up on the screen, and nothing seemed to happen at any point during the trip. Valet mode was active the whole time, so no radio or use of the center screen at all would work unless I punched in the pin code, but otherwise the truck drove normal. I disabled valet mode with the pin code after the 12 miles then drove home in normal mode no different (other than now I have full use of the center screen and radio).

So I dunno. Didn’t seem to do anything.

 

I was hoping someone else with the option could also give it a try.
