Modifications for Speed
Looking for the top 2 or 3 modifications to 'hot rod' my f150. Currently it's all pretty much stock. Wouldn't mind a little more 'gurgle' to it too - not too much though, I'm not a young guy, almost 70!
FYI, I have only little mechanical knowledge. Someone else would be doing the work.
Appreciated!

What engine?
What year?
Are you looking for more speed, power or torque?
A good tuner can do wonders for you. A new throttle body and a few other things will go along way.
If you want the sound then a cat back will give you that.

Age has nothing to do with it, hell, I'm 73.
Truck specs in sig, but I also have the OmegaX tune, modified rear side exit Borla SType, and S&B CAI.
The tune is what gives you the power.
Inside the truck, the Borla gives off a very nice, subdued rumble, zero drone. I like it so much, that in the winter I still roll down a window, just hear the outside sound. Have gotten many comments on that system, yes even from kids. Only olde gearheads need apply.
