I'm about to place an order for the lariat, I love the sports package (less chrome is better in my opinion) but it requires that the front have a console instead of a seat. "Leather-Trimmed 40/Console/40 Front Seats" is this really true and no way around it?

Sport package is black with the reddish/brown accents. If you want to avoid chrome you get bucket seats and that leather with the sport package.

 

Thanks, that's what I had thought. I don't want all the chrome but also don't want the black interior. For $60k would think Ford would figure out how to take the stone gray from point a to point b and install, then again guess they're not installing anything right now anyway.

 

wow didn't notice that the lariat comes with a jump seat as well .. OP for the 13th Gen a couple people have swapped their jump seat in for a console and vice versa, maybe easier to get the Sport and down the road try to get a jump seat to swap in

 

Get the two tone option. You can choose what color you want (Sport Package is limited to colors) . You get painted bumpers and door handles. And just don't order the the bucket seats with flow thru console. You can also choose your interior color.

I just ordered a Lariat about a week ago. Got it in Kodiak Brown with Stone Gray two tone accent. But I did want the console shifter...and got the interior in baja tan.

 

I ordered a Lariat with Sport Appearance package, and my only regret is that I had to get the reddish panels with the Sport Appearance package, I would rather have the interior all one color. But after seeing the Baja tan interior, I don't feel so bad about the reddish accents anymore.

 

How would that work? Because I think the leather is a different color from sport and non-sport? I wish they would just give us the option not to have to tie exterior styles to interior seat options...

 

you're right.. didn't even think of that.. and the fact it's special for the sport would mean that option would never be available .. unless you ask leather seats .com to replicate it.. i had them do something similar for my center console lid .. but that's only a guess at this point
