This is the main reason I ordered my Agate Black 501A Lariat without the Sport or Chrome package - to have an all black leather interior. Strangely, I think that is the only way to do it, at least on the Lariat.

Yeah, it looks alright without the chrome package. Who is buying all this chrome anyway? I'm guessing the bumpers could be swapped for sport versions and have a body shop paint them. Then it's almost chrome free

I thought about deleting the chrome bumpers, but honestly it reminds me of all the F150's in my family history. I'm leaving them chrome. I remember being 16 and learning to drive on a 73 and 79. Always had chrome bumpers on our trucks.

Sadly those of us who need the 40/20/40 front seat are limited in what options are available to you. Interesting that the 40/20/40 is the standard seating.

Problem with seat covers if you get cooled seats, but then again I don't think you can get cooled seats on a XLT. Cooled seats are one of the main reasons I would get a Lariat, but the sport interior is a deal breaker. Really wanting Ford to release more on the Tremor.

Nice. Didn't know that was an option. Wonder how well they work? Those aftermarket buttons look terrible and cheap, but adding cooled seats to a XLT would be nice.

I didn't want an excessive amount of chrome on my 501A so did not order the Chrome package. However, I didn't want painted bumpers either - primarily for durability concerns. In my area there are lots of logging roads that I travel to hunt & fish. etc. Most are fairly easy to travel on but have have tough vegetation like heavy grasses and small hardwoods growing up =especially between the wheel tracks. Chrome on the front bumper takes a beating from this stuff much better than paint..
