You pay a lot of extra money just to get rid of all that nasty chrome, don't we?

Why give us what we want when we'll pay to get rid of it?

I wanted the 502A package so you have to choose either Sport or Chrome. And Antimatter blue is only available on the Chrome package. Im not a fan of chrome but I intend to replace enough stuff o the truck that most of the chrome will go away. Black bumpers and rims eventually. Have a black tonuea
cover already

I have heard the style referred to as pensioners chrome. Not sure if that is the target demographic.

Chrome on the front bumper takes a beating from this stuff much better than paint..
For chrome or paint, wouldn't an option for that just be to get the film covering that many seem to like? It's an added cost sure, but I think someone said they paid under $1000 to get their bumpers and hood done, which would be your most likely impact points. I don't say this as second guessing your choice, more just wondering if in your experience even stuff like that doesn't hold up in your situation.

They work pretty decent from what I've heard. Believe the cost is about $1500 for both passenger and driver, though.

katzikn has cooled and heated seats. They where the best cooled seats I’ve ever had. Look it up it’s called degreez or something like that.

Yeah, someone posted the link earlier. Looks like a good option. As for the chrome stuff I would definitely just get the bumpers wrapped to match the truck. Right now I wouldn’t do the Sport package due to the interior color package so wrapping the chrome bumpers would be my trade off.

I have thought of that but don't have any actual experience to draw on. However, I would expect any plastic or vinyl type film material to still be far less durable than chrome(metal) in this particular situation.
