Default iPhone Ring Volume

Every time I get in my truck and my iPhone connects to the Sync 4 in my 501a the ringer volume on the phone goes to max volume. It also seems to do it every time I use the phone after I lower it when connected. My 18 F-150 didn’t have this issue. I’m not currently using CarPlay.

Anyone else see this issue and / or know a fix?

I think I have heard the guy (zollotech) on youtube talk about folks having volume changing issues. Are you up to date on IOS? My 11 pro max does some weird stuff like this.

No kidding! It’s the worst when you forget to drop the volume after you get out the truck and it rings. Your totally not expecting it!

I just got a 2022 F150 and I'm having the same issue - when the phone rings through carplay it's as loud as it can be....but if I turn the volume down on the truck, you can't hear the person you're talking to. Did anyone ever figure this out? Seems like there should be a pretty easy fix....??

Yep - bad when you have a custom rock and roll ring programmed, full volume every time.
