Default Auto Stop/Start

Anyone take delivery of a truck with the auto stop/start delete? If so what do you think?

x2, when started looking for a new truck last week, it wasnt real high up on my list, just so happened that our only 5.0 on the lot had it, i tell you what though its awesome, my only gripe is the one blank button where the shutoff would be if it had it

The blank button can be annoying, could it be replaced with the original button just for a better look?

I hate the stop start crap. IMO it just causes additional wear on batteries & starters . I have it on my 2023 and I’ve gotten used to hitting the button to turn it off every time I start my truck.

It really comes down to that. And the annoyance factor. I just purchased a used 2020. At first I thought someone had disabled it and thought "wow, what a nice bonus gift!" since I purchased the truck on my birthday. Then I realized there were apparently other factors such as cold weather etc. So now, as many have said, I am trying to integrate pressing the button as part of my, seatbelt on, lights on, Sirius radio channel - cool song playing, routine. But by the first stop sign or light, I'll know if I forgotten and say something like "Mother f*****! Who invented this crap?!"

Was deleted in my '23 truck. There is no dead button where it should be, Ford just put a really large camera button in it's place. It's very easy to disable with FORscan.
