I'm not sure I could do that on my 23 Lariat, so I just went with the Stop/Start Eliminator.

love it. that was one of the several reasons this is the truck we bought. auto start stop is dumb imo. glad they're getting rid of it.

You know, in bumper to bumper traffic in mild weather I could see a benefit. Windows down and move 20 feet and stop repeatedly.

But I suppose that is a lot of starter wear and tear too.

My 2022 got the credit on the window sticker since they didn't have the chips available. I am glad for that.

I've been considering selling the Eliminator for $50 and simply unplugging.
What “eliminator” do you have that makes the button not work?

All the ones I have used over the years just holds the status in memory and you can override by simply hitting the button again. Turn it off, it stays off. Turn it on, it stays on.

I bought this one about a year ago and even though the light stays on, it will only work when I press the button to turn it on. I have tried others that didn't work or my truck when crazy with so it's not bad for $49.00. And, it stays off!!

I use the same dongle as you listed…the original Eliminator.

What I meant was if you unplug next to the brake pedal you have a non-functioning dash button. That sort of irks me. Heh
