My 2023 didn’t have it and they also gave $50 back. A win win.

On my 2019 5.0 I was able to disable that annoying feature with Forscan, it was fairly simple.
Maybe you can get the dealer to disable that for a fee.

Mine just slowly stopped working on its own, over a number of months. In it's final throes of life, it would take me driving 300 km. in order for it to start to work. Now it doesn't work ever, and that is probably a good thing. Just wish I understood why because I hate when technology just quits working with no explanation.

That is a red flag that your 12v battery needs to be replaced.

Instead of receiving a $50 credit on the invoice, I would have paid $50 to not have it. Now I am not so sure about the heated steering wheel credit.

Auto Start/Stop is pure garbage. Completely unnecessary and one of the most ridiculous, if not the most ridiculous, features ever added to a vehicle. Have it deleted.

I got the factory delete and $50 ford credited me with when I bought the truck.

I have driven many rental cars with S/S, both auto and manual on overseas trips. It really doesn't bother me.

I did exactly this. Definitely a great move. A.S.S. serves no real purpose in my experience.

In retrospect, I would consider saving the money) by unplugging the connection next to the brake and reconnecting if I ever towed.

In my case it was the best $99 I spent.

Even though it makes more sense to unplug next to the brake pedal for free (if you don't tow), I don't like it when there's a button that doesn't work...as stupid as that button may be.
I've been considering selling the Eliminator for $50 and simply unplugging.
