Another ford failure
I had the paint matched factory flares on my previous 3 trucks and none of them had any scuffing around the flares when I traded them in, with 93000 miles, 45000 miles and 55000 miles respectively. I was also disappointed when I found out the flares were not available when I ordered my '22 last year because I think they give the truck a more "finished" look.
No factory fender flare option. Are you kidding me?! Some of us live in areas with gravel roads. Ford offers 0 protection for the part of the fender that rolls in above the tire . Sure, we can buy an aftermarket flare, but then there are no decent splash guard (mud flap) options. Between that and that annoying damn chime when I start my truck this thing really pisses me off. Did Ford not get the memo that when you annoy customers or fail in general it’s a loss?

Have to say I liked the wheel well trim from the factory on my 2016 Lariat, gives it a more finished look and offers more protection. On my 21 Tremor the front tires do stick out a bit, I have the stock tires and wheels. I will say I was surprised when I learned there were no factory wheel well moldings available. Chimes don't bother me, the double honk certainly does, just don't want to play around with Forscan, have an extended warranty don't want to give Ford an excuse not to cover any problems. So I live with it.
It is well documented on here how easy it is to use Forscan and I have yet to see an account of someone being denied warranty due to Forscan changes. My truck has been in 8 times for warranty work and never have my changes even been mentioned (double honk, startup chimes, oil temp, etc). I even have auto start/stop disabled with a jumper wire soldered in behind the switch and that has never been mentioned, but everyone has to determine what they think risks are and what they are willing to do.

issues with moving and/or damaging paint. Could be another supply issue problem
