lol that’s a good point. Had to shoot some
paint on that. WTH Ford? And I have seen a bunch of people complain about that. I hope they get chastised for it as well. I mean, it’s and obvious failure providing chassis parts that don’t have paint, but not a failure to leave painted parts on the fenders exposed to flying rocks and debris?

Maybe the OP should have performed more due diligence before purchasing, if those small items represent a failure by Ford for him. Venting is fine but being completely melodramatic, especially when new, tends to elicit the types of replies received.

Edit: I see the OP is NOT a new member - been here 5 years, with 3 posts, so apparently a member who comes to a forum for the information available.
You are correct. I use the forum as a tool
for research. To see what people have done that works and what doesn’t. And to research issues people may be having. I rarely post, and now remember why.
I get the chime thing isn’t a big deal. I don’t know why you aren’t all concerned about the paint getting blown off your fenders.

This is the paint exposed above all of the tires I’m referring to. Maybe they used some magical paint that can withstand getting getting stones chucked at them and point blank rage without damage?

I prefer to protect my investment, but

maybe you’re all right and I’m worried without reason.

This is my 22 SD. Great flare and splash guard set up. Does an excellent job protecting the paint and Ford decided to dump it on the F150.
Here’s what really caused me to create this post with me venting- I have now ordered 4 different sets of flares. RC SF1 (cheap, thin plastic), Bushwacker extend a fender (not impressed and and after purchase I read many reviews about poor fit) Bushwacker OE flares (if there was a splash guard available I would have kept them) and finally Air Designs flares. They were over $700 and will be another 400 to paint. They are more obnoxious than I was hoping for and will have to get wider offset wheels to match them but they provide good protection. IMO the set up on my KR is perfect and should be available from ford on the F150 for a clean, neat look that protects the paint. Up until the 21 model year that set up was available

my '21 still looks brand new? What are you saying isn't painted?

I believe the issue you have with the fenders is a non-issue if the truck had the stock wheels and tires. With stock wheels and tires the wheels are recessed into the fenders and the liners will protect the rocks from chipping the inner fender if you have them. There really shouldn't be and rocks that are thrown up in that area with tires and wheels that are recessed in as much as they are from the factory.

Therefore, you are really asking for a factory part to address a non-factory modification. There are aftermarket solutions that will help non-factory modifications...

alright guys, if you don't have anything constructive to say, do not say anything at all, if we see any more name calling there will be further disciplinary action taken

It’s inside a wheel well. Stones are going to hit it. However, the tires available from the factory can only pick up small stones, so that probably helps.
I do otherwise agree. I’m looking for a slightly more aggressive look. A large number of people do wheel and tire swaps. To the majority though it won’t matter.

Because I drive a 2015 Lariat FX4 SCrew that has factory flares.

Did the wheel openings change after '21? Can you not purchase the previous OEM flares and install them? I haven't kept up with all the various little changes because I am not in the market for a new truck.

Or how about having PPF installed?
