Why should the Lariat have a special hood?

Not sure I'm liking the new headlights.....

 

The DRL's at night will look kinda cool, but yeah, something about it doesn't quite hit. Taillights too for that matter.

 

Very after market/ricer looking imo

 

I think the DRL's look silly. Too white and they look like something that is aftermarket China, they don't flow. Not a good change IMHO.

I'd be happy w/o the grills on the hood, I hope they are offered that way. I like the hood w/o the grills.

There is a lot going on with those tail lights. I didn't like the 21-23 tail lights, very much. I have a '19 and I think they look good on that MY.

*duh, the DRL's are on, silly me.

 

I also don't like the headlights in general. with the 21-23's, it's one solid flat piece that doesn't give away the fact that it's plastic. The new shape makes them look plasticky.

Some of the grilles seem like an improvement (with the exception of the low Tremor model, which looks incredibly bad). But I feel like the headlights/taillights/DRL's aren't an improvement.

 

I was really hoping Ford would have come out with someting really nice for the front headlights and rear tail lights. I think the headlights are ugly and look like something that would come from China, even my wife says they are ugly and look cheap. The Led strips are too big, don't flow smoothly thru the headlight and look like a last minute add on. Even the tailights look wierd. I hate to say it since I have always had Fords, but the GMC Sierra has Ford beat on the front and rear. Guess I won't be buying a 2024
