Naw, the 2018 F-150 got completely different headlights and taillights from the 2017. Due to the change in the headlights, the grille changed a bit too. That was also when the DRL c-bars changed from amber to white (and also changed shape).

The taillight change was very minor and I don’t think it was the exterior shape at all, but the actual part that shines red for running/tails certainly changed.

The body panels didn’t change tho, so you could easily make a 2017 look like the updated 2018 but it would take both a grille and the headlights to do it.

I don't think the 2018+ headlights would've fit into the 2017 model, because the shape of the grille and headlight was different.

That is exactly what I said LOL.

They fit into the truck, but it would take the newer headlights and grille.

It also appears the bumper changed a bit too which I forgot about. The body panels didn’t change though.

There were actually plenty of guys who did the upgrade to their 2015-2017 trucks like blkZ28 said.

I don't think what you're saying and what he said are conflicting. He said to make it work you would need to change both the grille and headlights.

I also hated those headlights on the left because of the "dotted" LEDs. Yuck.

Here is one example of a guy who did the upgrade. It takes lights, grille, bumper, and some misc small parts.

Agreed. Was never a fan of that.

I also still to this day prefer amber DRL bars, but our Gen14 white bars aren’t bad.

Also not a fan of the dotted DRL lights. I like the look of a smooth DRL bar where the individual lights can't be seen.

How long until someone asks if they can retrofit the 24 taillights on to 21 and up.

In 3,2,1...

I wonder if you can retrofit the 24 taillights on the 21 and up.
