Default SSI performance tune problems!!!

Morning guys,
im in a serious pickle and could use some help and expertise. I made a mistake in lack of research and acquired a 93 octane performance/race tune from SSI Performance as directed to gap my plugs .26...ive come across individuals who have claimed of blown engines and or poor tuning from these guys. Im getting boost spikes now.and the engine just doesnt feel right at all..is there anyone out there that would be willing and able to check this tune? I was required to get the new Diablosport Trinity2ex which is garbage by the way, as that is one of there software platforms. Feel like i made a rookie mistake and am pissed and embarrassed. Im currently ditching the programmer and tune and starting over. First i need to find out if anything in that tune might or could have damaged my engine or anything else. Any help would much be appreciated and i will do my best to give all info as needed. Hope its not to late..thabks guys

Why check the tune if you are not going to use it? Just remove the tune, sell the tuner and start over.

yea my man ive already flashed her to stock this morning and unmarried the device..im trying to get schooled on how to spot a bad hiccup in a tune on the dataviewer and possibly learn how to rectify it. I dont have any dynos that have the software to do my truck so ive had to do alot of my own work with out a dyno and its getting very hard not knowing the exacts. Im a smart student looking for a teacher

Thats good to know. Is it running fine now? I assume no check engine light. How long did you run the tune and how hard did you run it?

I would use the tuner to do a KAM reset, then reset the check engine light and hopefully that works.

Wastegate solenoid should be a fairly easy/cheap fix if it really is faulty. it's right on top of the engine towards the front.

Without writing a book, I had an issues (thought) with an SSI revision about 4 years ago. I felt burned. I had already read all the posts prior to purchasing so I knew the chance I was taking per se. Before this, ran the tune for over year with zero issues. Long story short, SSI stood their ground it was my truck. My response was that all my 5* run fine and their (SSI) tow tune ran fine so it wasn’t my truck. I finally gave up and just stuck with 5*. Fast forward recently had another issue with a BBK tb. During the diagnoses, it was determined bad cam sensor although no CEL. That was changed and the only other thing I changed on my own at the same time was plugs and coil packs. On a hunch, after years, I decided to load the SSI tune. Runs perfectly fine and I get better mileage. So I guess it was my truck after all.

Do they? I don’t see much activity anymore about their tunes.
