Bought my SCT 4 from 5 Star Tuning with lifetime free tunes. Me and my buddies have not had any issues. The oldest truck in the group is a 2010 with 210,000+, my 2014 has 93,000+. Everytime one of us adds a mod we email them and in a week or so we get the new tune FREE.
