That's odd. I wonder what the difference is? Must be some difference between the 15-17 ELD and the 11-14/18+ ELDs.

Maybe the 15/17 trucks have no need. The product description offers nothing of an improvement over the EL in my 2017 other than possibly staying locked at all speeds, something I see no advantage to. I get instant locking after switching and it's positive, I don't see how it will increase traction. KM

Not saying they shouldn't get credit for the leg work on this but $69 is a bit of a stretch for a $2.00 relay. If they had made a plug n play harness I could see it but you have to cut and splice. All they are doing is bypassing the signal feed to power always on. Similar to what we do with the spotlights to run anytime. My guess is that it will work on the '15-'16 but the wiring colors are different and they probably didn't have one to test on.

Seriously. Anyone could do this with a few wires and a relay. Thats how i did the bambi mod on my jeep. I just took the BCM out if the equation and the switch directly triggers the relay.

Everybody keeps saying for $2 they could do it themselves BUT SPE claims the relay is not a standard relay. Im not arguing either way but IF it is in fact not a standard relay, doing the $2 diy method could cost you significantly more in the long run in terms of fried coils and similar failures
