Default Ameri truck 5.0 dyno

Any one seen their video review of the 2018 5.0 on youtube? They do a dyno comparison of the 18 vs 15.
355ftlb and 341 hp to the tire for 18.
316 ftlb and 278 hp for the 15.
The rear tires appear to be the same despite the 15s front 35s.
What would the parasitic loss be? If 15% then torque would be bang on. But hp would be around 420 at the crank.
Some here have suggested Ford hasn't been truthful of the 5.0 #s. Perhaps they are correct...
3.5 owner here fyi.

Those look like some nice numbers. I got 400hp 408ftlbs with 15%.

total bs. The 2018 5.0 is not 60 more hp then the 15(or 16 that they compare it to actually). I know for a fact my 2015 5.0 is as strong if not stronger then my old 07 Mustang GT which laid down 293 rwhp with a tune.

I did a couple passes with my 2018 5.0 on a Mustang Dyno and got 338 WHP. 7th gear is 1:1 and we were hitting the speed limiter so we dropped down to 5th gear. I probably could have squeezed a bit more in 1:1.

I just took 420hp and took 15% off and it come to 357. Not sure which way to calculate it correctly though.

Thanks for moving this thread out of the 15up. Even though it is directly related to 16 and 18s
