Default Check engine light!

Anyone help me?? I have the " service engine soon " light on and it reads " lean fuel " anyone know what that means and how to fix it

Yeah. It means you need to raise the hood and see why your engine THINKS it is gettin too much air for the amount of fuel its burnin. You could stuff a sock in the air intake. But I really think LaMartian's suggestion might be more helpful.

Never heard of Lean Fuel.. where do you buy that ??

Sorry bout that! 2001 lariat super crew 5.4.. I just use regular 87 octane.

At wont do it. At's what I use when I aint havin to strech it with beer. Like I said, it means your engine thinks its getting too much air. For 174 poor some 100 proof around on the manifold and see if you can find a air leak. The idle will speed up

Check the PVC hose at the rear on the intake manifold.
