Bluetooth problem
I'm having an issue where my phone is showing fully connected to SYNC and it works for phone calls; however, when I try to go to bluetooth audio and play my music, podcasts, etc. it says "No bluetooth device is available right now...". I went to the Ford website and it says the only SYNC update available is one that requires me to take it to a dealership. I'm trying my best to avoid the service fee. Also, my iPhone's software is fully up-to-date.
Anyone else having this issue?

Couple of questions, one has your phone worked in the past on this truck? Two have you tried having someone else hook up and try? I have seen issues with phone permissions where sync is only allowed access to certain things on your phone causing issues Just a though

Same exact problems that everyone is saying here. Brand new 2023 F150 Lariat, and experience all of the same symptoms:
- Call continues, other people can hear me but i can't hear them. If is switch to speakerphone and back to bluetooth it fixes its temporarily (but does sometimes come right back
- If i put the car into park or reverse, this triggers the alien noises sometimes immediately.
- Driving down street or on highway it randomly disconnects and you don't know when it happens so constantly asking the other party if they are there and if you can hear them.
All of the above happens to me on
- Different phones (tried 3 different iPhones)
- Happens regardless of using Carplay or not
Dealership has never heard of it and its to the point only way for me to use my phone in the car reliably is through the speakerphone on the phone.
Anyone have a fix or get ANY information from their dealership?
