That's the one. I am working with their internet sales, but if you look through the trucks they are selling, they are posting their prices for all to see.

Thumbs up Forums are a good place to be!

I think it all depends where you live. My dealer who bought back my "crooked" 2015 Mustang had actually to transfer my F150 from a different dealer in Edmonton/AB. The sticker price was $52,900. My dealer sells normally lifted trucks or fleet trucks. And because I asked for a Screw plus 2.7 liter EcoBoost, we started talking about the price. It took me 2 days with walking out a couple times to get it for $43,400 what was close to the sticker price I had on the Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost (paid $39,000 for it). I did get on top a $1,000 voucher for parts from Ford Canada and (what my dealer forgot to put on my sales paper - not even telling me that they got it from Ford Canada) another $2,000 "buy-back insensitive". I am waiting now for a call from the dealership that my $2,000 check is ready for pickup. And yes. They weren't happy that the FORD CSM told me about the extra $2,000 when she followed up with my case.

Forums are a really good place to figure out what can be negotiated by a Ford dealer.

BTW. To get more money for your trade-in. Go to a different dealer and have a chat with one of the sales guys. Ask for his business card and (if you checked already your black book price) put some extra dollars on top. Write it on the back of the business card. (Make sure that it doesn't look like your normal hand writing!) In my case it was years ago a Grand Vitara with a BB value of $7,500. I wrote $9,400 on the back

If the sales manager comes and tells you much less than you like to have for your car, tell him that you had a chat already at xxx dealer and they offered you (like in my case) $9,400 if you signed a deal this weekend.... And show him the back of the business card.
I got $9,500 for my trade-in because "they always can do better then the other dealer story.."!

Default Another internet dealer promises good discounts

In adddition to Holiday, give this dealer a look...Winder Ga and shows $8K off Platinums they list as in stock.....too late for me on my 2015 as I am going X-Plan with a dealer I bought my 2011 and 2013 from and they gave the best trade value on my '13 and the salesman has been there 11 years so knows all the ropes.....smile.....no hassle

I will look at the other dealers for a planned 2015 or 2016 'Stang Convert. I plan to get to replace my '74 Vette....although also looking at the 2016 Camaro as it has major changes for 2016...decisions....decisions....

My truck was $70,099.

X-Plan Discount: $5906.00
Delivery Rebate: $4500.00
Costco Rebate: $1000.00

I would definitely say that the X-Plan discount plus the others are great.

Hey guys, its been a while since I've been on since I traded my '11 in for a '14 SHO. I'm going to potentially lease a '15 F150 XLT truck tomorrow and want to run something by you.

MSRP is $51,860
They are giving me $6497 off

I asked them to now include my x plan pin and they said this was better than x plan. Does that sound right? I'm looking lease at 3 yr. 15k/year.

Should I tell them to also include my Costco membership discount or do I need to go through Costco?

thanks!

Its been recommended that u ask to see the invoice and go off the invoice price and minuse rebates. Or 10%-12% msrp

Costco acts as a 3rd party referral agent between you & the dealer only if the dealer is a Costco Auto Plan participant. A nonparticipating dealer will not give you a Costco discount just because you ask for it. Also, perhaps not commonly known, but the dealer pays Costco ~ $200-300 (give or take) for the referral.

FWIW, that is not completely accurate. I happened to read this last month in Forbes. Costco's Auto Buying Program is a customer perk, but they don't make any money off the individual sale. They make it by charging the dealers to sign up with them.

The dealers are not complaining, they sold 400,000 cars thru Costco in 2014.

The bigger surprise lies in the fact that Costco doesn’t earn revenues off the vehicle sales it arranges, as the final sale of vehicles are conducted directly with the dealer. Costco simply arranges the deal between the dealer and the buyer and hence takes away the painstaking process of negotiation involved when one purchases a car from a dealer. Dealers, in turn, pay Costco a modest monthly marketing fee to operate the program. Costco’s prime motivation for entering the auto sales market is building a new channel to get more people to sign up for its membership, a step that translates into higher recurring revenues for the company in the future.
