For those that have the window vent visor things, the ones that install on the outside (not the inchannel ones), did you apply the taped portion to the paint like the instructions or the rubber window seal?
I know of one guy that did the rubber channel and says it works, my buddy did the paint….I’m just nervous about removal later in if I tape
I had them on my old truck (Dodge) and my wife’s car Honda. They both were needed to keep the rain out when cracking the windows. I put the channel type in my 2020 F-150 and it created quite a bit of wind noise so I threw them away. Come to find out my F-150 doesn’t drip rain in the windows like our other vehicles. We are drip free with windows lowered about 2 inches. With no drip rail up there that is amazing to me.
Installing them on the paint will make them NOT line up here. ( @David Jones hope you don’t mind me borrowing your pic) You pretty much have to put them on the trim if you want them to continue on the same body line as the mirrors.
@Summers22 also has them installed this way, and was the reason I decided to install them on the trim instead of straight on the paint.
I have had mine installed probably around 2 years now. Still as solid as can be.

I kind of understand what you are getting at but if it rains and your windows are down 2 inches, your trucks getting wet...i guess a "no drip" window will stop water if its on the roof coming down but wont magically stop rain from flying in the truck with it parked in the rain

I put my windows down about 2", pretty much every time I park at the office or at home.

ok?
if it rains or storms, you’ll get water in your truck? Point of the vents is to allow the windows to be down an inch or 2 while preventing rain from getting in

You did see the picture I posted above, the one with the ventvisors?
