Window vent install question

I did.

I think we might be getting mixed up, gmike2 said that "the F150 doesnt drip rain in the windows...we are drip free with the windows lowered 2 inches" WITHOUT a window vent.
I responded to him saying thats great for water dripping off the roof, im concerned with actual rain falling from the heavens and landing in that 2 inches with NO vent.

So i think i agree with you, WITH the vent, you can leave your windows down 2 inches and dont have to worry about drip or rain. Thats what i want, to be able to leave my windows cracked in the summer and ot have to roll them up in a thunderstorm, the vents will allow me to do that. The other guy implied i dont need them due to a "no drip" roof.

Exactly.
I'm not sure of the exact measurement, but if I leave the window even or just ever so slightly above the level of the bottom of the vent visor, never a rain in issue. 2" seems about right. I believe the "standard" Vent Visor (the brand) offers a little more air gap versus the low profile that I have.
