Sounds like they threw their hands up, and said screw it, replace everything. Main thing, it's taken care of! Did they give you any idea of what parts were bad?

Yes both actuators, both hubs, the solenoid, topside vacuum hose assembly and check valves. Gears had been grinding due to loss of vacuum while driving around actuator seal and a slight leak on the hose assembly. TSB called for full replacement of all the above components. I took a service tech, his advisor and a service manager on a test drive in the morning when it would normally act up. I asked all 3 to write on a sheet a paper what they thought the sound and vibration was. All 3 papers said IWEs. They’ve had 17 f150s between 2015 and 2017 in the last week come in for exact same reason for the TSB. They also told me they would be willing to upgrade my clutch pack 5000 miles before my power train warranty ends to rule that out as ever causing issues. Been with this dealership for 15 years between my family and my wife’s. They treat us very well

Yes, sounds like you got a good dealer, mine is the same towards me. My dealer has been plagued with issues on this system for a long time as well. /They told me once the numbers, almost unbelievable. That's a very good offer on the TC for sure.

Trucks back at the dealership, issue is actually the clutch packs. Upgraded carbon steel ones are going in now
