Default What is this part called and what does it do?

So I’m wondering what is this part on my truck. It’s between the inner fender and cab. It looks glued in place and I’ve never noticed it on my other F150s. My tire is running it an just want to know what it’s called or what it does

Looks like a pressure vent.. Like when you slam a door, the air pressure in the cab comes out of there so you dont blow the windows out.

I think that is exactly right. it is a pressure vent for the cab. Here is a pic from the other side:

Well I just removed both of them. They weren’t pressure vents. Apparently they cover the pinch weld on the front of the cab.

I have no idea!

However, if I was to offer a guess... Possibly a collision part to take the initial blow there by reducing the impact to the panel behind it?

Like what is behind bumper covers on cars, but not as elaborate...

Either that or it is just there to offer support to the wheel well..

I think the pressure vents are on the lower back wall of cab.

That's not an air extractor, those are only on the back of the cab and really small ones on the doors. The white part at the rear of the front fender is for overlap crash, I think, hope you or your passenger won't mind losing a foot should you be in that situation, I pray you aren't. I'm surprised you were even able to get them off

Gotta chuckle a bit here.
Mike, with your expertise at modding, it seems funny that you didn't know what it is. I don't know either, or even if I have that.
