What are your thoughts of me towing a boat and trailer GWVR 7400 lbs dry weight with 2016 Ford F-150 2.7 ecoboost? I know the truck is rated at 13,500lbs just don’t want to overload engine. Is this too much weight?
Sorry to say but some where along the line you have been grossly misinformed. No 2.7 eco is rated to tow 13500lbs. The 3.5 eco in its most basic lightest truck has the max tow rating of 13200lbs them years(iirc). You might be right on the max of the tow rating for your truck but more details are needed for us to figure it out.
edit: unless u ment gross combination weight rating, but still you will be darn near the limit of tow weight.

ok so u did mean max combination gross, but you need to find the tow rating which if affected by many things like if u have the tow package or payload package, and the options of ir specfic truck ie 2wd, loaded out lariat, platinum or base xl
That COMBINED WEIGHT of loaded truck and loaded trailer. Not what you can tow. Subtract the weight of your truck from that number (approx 5300lbs) and you'll get 8000 as max trailer.
And you posted the white sticker not the yellow - we need the payload.
