Before I step aside and let the more knowledgeable asses ur situation, since its a boat it should have a light toung weight but thats where the available payload comes in to play, if u can load the boat and gear,passengers and not exceed the payload ur good. I think you will be right near the max if u have the payload. Good luck and kudos for asking questions.

If ur toung weight is around 13% you can pull it but that only leaves you 475ish lbs to put in the truck, gear ppl ect. But u can do it

I better go on a diet I have a lot of fishing gear lol. Sounds like I’m pushing it a bit darn it

just do it slowly lol I pulled a small camper with my 2007 ford with a 4.6 it wasn't pretty but it did it... the only "mod" was 10 ply federal couragia tires.

Here’s the towing guide. 2016 2.7 have a max trailer weight ranging from 7k-8k five or take a few pounds.

starts on page 16, find your truck and configuration. If the trailer you want to pull is under the max weight, then you would need to find actual tongue weight and ensure you aren’t going over the trucks payload (all your gear and all that).
