Default Weird electrical issue

Hey all! I own a 2018 F-150 XLT with the 302A luxury package. Out of the middle of nowhere all the physical buttons on the center console stopped working. The front driver and passenger windows don't work but the back windows and rear slider do. The door locks and remote don't work but the exterior pin pad does. Mirrors don't adjust. All interior overhead lights are fine. The touch screen and steering wheel buttons work but the thermometer doesn't. It is below freezing every night so the mornings are rough! It runs fine. Doesn't throw any codes. I checked a bunch of fuses in both fuse boxes that control the affected systems as well as the BCM fuses and they are all fine. I don't have BLIS so there is no sensor system in the taillights and it is dry in there anyway (saw some youtube video mentioning this). Basically I did a bunch of research and troubleshooting on my own and cannot find anything. Do I need a new BCM or can it be something easier? Any ideas and thank you!!

Sometimes goofy electronic issues are caused by a battery low on charge or needing replacement. Keeping them charged is a bit challenge with all the heavy electrical usage, especially in winter.

Thank you for the reply SpencerPJ! I didn't consider the battery since it was starting up but went and tested it and it needed replacement. I replaced it but nothing changed Same exact issues. Maybe it is a relay or connector somewhere? Should I re-post in the maintenance shop? Thanks again for the advice

My next thought would be looking at all the grounds and verifying good connections. How recent was battery replaced? Was it fully charged?

Did you or the shop reset the BMS so it knows you have a new battery?

My guess and it's just that, a guess, a common connector came undone. Go around the engine bay and both fuse boxes to be sure they are all seated firmly. I don't think the BCM is at fault and that is an expensive way to start trowing parts at the problem.Your best bet if you want to figure this out yourself is to find schematics and trace the origins of each of those switches. Check for the outputs and grounds.

Everything you are having problems with communicate over the MS-CAN bus. Something has caused a problem with the bus. On vevicles with BLIS, this is often water intrusion into the taillamps. Since you don't have BLIS, the problem must be somewhere else. Check Connector C327 (loacated on the LH wheelhouse) as the MS-CAN bus passes through this connector. This is a favourite area for rodent damage.

I replaced the battery with a brand new one same day as this post.

I reset it by flashing the brights and hitting the brakes until the battery light flashed.

Thanks Wicked Ace. I'll keep searching.
