@52merc This was it! I found damaged wires right there from squirrels. The next step is figuring out if I can replace this on my own since it ties into the other connector that goes into the firewall. The following step is killing the squirrels

As I said, It is a favourite spot for rodent damage. Good luck with the repairs.

Here is the Pin-out for C327. This is from a MY2016 but I believe it didn't change for 2018.

I had a feeling when I started reading this post, the issue might be squirrels. I have a the same issue. Now, I'm trying to find if it's best to have a dealer fix it or an auto electrical shop. And in my search on Google, I found info that says if you have Comp on your insurance policy, it should be covered.

Call your insurance carrier first. They can tell you if the damage is covered, and probably have suggestions about where to take it for repairs.

If it were me I'd look to an electrical shop as it's their specialty. Most dealers would probably look at it and tell you that the harness needs to be replaced.

It is covered under my comp. I'll file a claim tomorrow and bring it to an electrical shop. Good call, thanks

Hi There,

I have a 2018 F150 Sport 5.0, and I'm experiencing the same issues, but they only occur when the temperature is above 0 degrees Celsius. When the temperature is below 0 degrees, everything works fine. I removed both taillights and the SOD (BLIS module) and both were completely dry with no corrosion on the connectors and no water inside the taillights. I also checked C405, C408, C423, and C406 (back bumper) and I found no corrosion; everything was dry. I also checked C275 and C327 (LH wheelhouse); everything is dry and has no corrosion. Any other suggestions? Could it be the BCM Control Module - Ford (JU5Z-15604-BZ)
Thx
