I found this kc mrack on Facebook marketplace the other day for a decent price ($500) and decided to pick it up. It came with this Amazon/eBay light bar. I prefer the circular light bar that KC sells, but I don’t like it $1800.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t hesitant to drill holes in my roof. Looking for some validation that it looks cool before I drill away. What do y’all think?

I have no reason to install a roof rack on my truck, so I say don't do it.

However, that is only helpful if you and I are twins.
If you need a roof rack, go for it.

I disagree with any street vehicle having light bars and/or off road lights because, well mostly because they look silly. They looked cool in the 80s. Now the the 2000's, lights up top are pretty much only good for blinding oncoming drivers on purpose because it makes a driver chuckle.

As others said, this is not something I like the look of (or need) so there is no way I could bring myself to drill holes in the roof for it.

It's an expensive truck, not a beater Jeep, I don't think I could drill holes in the body anywhere.

I never liked the idea of drilling holes in a perfectly non-leaking roof.

I agree. That's why I never buy a vehicle with a sunroof.

Do you need a roof-rack? They have ones that clip onto the sides of the roof and can be removed when not in use.
