You are absolutely correct, your 2015 came with an SD card reader. However, most members complaining about updates are Sync 3 which is USB only. The Nav program in your pickup and those in 2016 and later are different, so even if you could make a copy to USB, it wouldn't work in our systems. That is one major problem with Ford installing Sync 2 rather than Sync 3 into the 2015. However you do have the ability to update, where we don't at this time.
