If you have a sheet of stryofoam, lay it on the bed first and beer on the foam sheet. Wouldn't hurt to put a sleeping bag around it after. The bed floor will be the coldest area.

I think the OP is male, so this is not really an option.

Go with the sleeping bag approach, and if you have the 502A package or higher, use the beverage temperature monitor system, and add insulation as needed...

...at least it will be cold and ready when you arrive...
have the opposite problem in the south, it would get warm back there unless in a cooler on ice (I'm a little jealous in that regard)!

Er, what temp does water freeze at?

Put some ice cream in a plastic bag, and then put it in the air tight cooler surrounded by LOTS of ice. 6 hours later, remove it. Then drink the ice cream. The bag was to keep the container from getting soggy...

I've accidentally left a case of beer in my truck overnight in sub freezing temps.
It won't freeze solid in that amount of time. However, don't open one as soon as you arrive. Let it warm up a little otherwise when you pop the top and let air in you will end up with a can full of slush.

Now being selfish, and squandering, and packing the land fills with glass and aluminum... now that is what life is all about!

If is too much to ask that you chuck the cans in one at a time, you can just push your cart into the bottle deposit room and walk away. Your mother will clean up after you.
I do not put the glass or cans in a landfill, they go to the local Boy Scouts who recycle them. I just refuse to pay more for worse selection of beer and then have to stand in front of a machine for 20 minutes feeding cans and bottles in to get my money back while I am on vacation.

Lol, A guys has to worry about his Busch Light tasting its best you know!

There will be a couple cases of Budlight and Blue Moon, then a bunch of assorted local micro brews.

Bottom line is it sounds like I will be fine. The bed is covered. I forgot to mention I have a bedrug mat so that will provide some insulation and if I pack the beer in the middle of the clothes, I should have a frosty beverage as soon as I arrive.

I've left diet root beer in my truck overnight in close to single digits and it's never frozen.
