Beer will freeze. If you put in your freezer, it'll freeze and pop the top.
Actually, the center armrest/storage bin will hold a 6 pack nicely. Too bad it's not insulated.

Something tells me since he's bringing it with him to avoid having to return the cans before he leaves to save a few bucks, were talking about 6 cases, not a 6 pack.

Bingo. Or even surrounded by sleeping bags or bedding, and it'll be good to go. Good luck!

I had two of my cats in the back of my truck from North of Seattle to Cleveland OH. I could not bring them into the three hotels I stayed at. I had blankets and other stuff back there to keep them warm. This was Dec 29th 2004 in a snow storm most of the way. I kept two gallons of water back there with them and it never froze. It was a 1997 reg cab and the exhaust was close enough to the bottom of the bed it kept it warm after 10 to 15 hours a day of driving.

To answer your question don't worry about it.

Yes the cats made it just fine and lived a long happy life.

More than 6, getting enough up there for a winter full of trips and not having to worry about this again.

Depends on what you call beer! Anything with some variation of the word light might freeze. The good stuff, probably not.
