Take it to a local tire retailer and see if they will touch it. If they don't have any bones about it, plug it yourself. If they shy away, probably best to go with a new tire. They tend to err on the side of caution.
I have a friend that "sells tires" told me it's not safe to plug a tire anywhere on the tread. Said air could seep by the plug and separate the plys. I had one done one time with a patch/plug combo thing, lasted a year[8k miles] before it gave me trouble
would not plug or plug patch , but chances are being where it is that part of the mold is pretty thick might not have penetrated inner liner. If it did go back to dealer and see if Goodyear will do a goodwill adjustment.
This happened to my truck the first 800 mi. Patched it myself, then took it to the shop and they parched the inside. No leaks and it's @ 4k+ now. Haven't towed or hauled much though.
