It's amazing how a simple nail in a tire can cause so much drama and frustration amongst readers.
Must be Trump supporters!
Anyway...it's a tiny roofing nail.
Use the rope plug on it.
I will guarantee that it will not cause the vehicle to implode and it will work flawlessly...I guarantee it.
I've been using the external tire plugs for over 30 years...very successfully!

Actually, democratic supporters would be the MORE likely ones to first attempt to make the repair to save money and then sue for damages once it failed.

Yes , I would patch that tire as well. I am also aware the tire has been patched , as stated 14 times before.

If the puncture is within an inch of the sidewall, or in the sidewall, the tire should not be repaired. Too much flex in that area of the tire and the probability of failure is high.
