Plug it and forget it. I've never had a plugged tire fail and I've had several. Even a few with a few plugs. My motorcycle tire even has one in it. A tire shop will of course play it safe because they don't want the liability AND they want to sell you a tire. That's their job. I say go for it, but I'm just some guy on the internet speaking from my own experience and have zero liability in your situation.

How are you guys "patching" it your self's, yall have tire shops or something lol?

From my experience, "patching" requires the tire to be dismounted from the wheel to "patch" the puncture from the inside and plugging does not.

I use a local place that charges $12 and takes it off the rim and patches/plugs.

Default plug

I think all tire dealers in CT are in kahootz because my tire had a nail in it and they all said it was illegal to plug tires here now
The $120+ tire had a winter season on them
I bought the bullit and spent the money on a new one
I didn't have the time or plugs to do it
I worked for a tire store as a kid and the plugs would outlast the tires
Safety Seal was the best brand at the time
I bought a box of plugs after that I think I will be dead before I use them all
Plugs are fine and installed correctly will not leak.

Lol, I worked at a gas station/repair shop and did many plugs with Safety Seal back in the day too.

I just buy a tire patch kit from the auto store. I do this because my preferred tire shop some ways away and I'd rather patch it before I make the trip. Takes me 10 mins and that's with my air compressor ramping up pressure. Most shops around will patch for free.

I have taken plugged tires to very high speeds with no issue... I would plug it myself - but I've plugged many tires and have a fair amount of experience. If you don't - take it somewhere....

So it seems pretty reasonably to plug it and keep an eye on it.

Thanks everyone
