Restart your iPhone. Mine wouldn't work till I restarted my iPhone. I did it while I sat in the truck (no idea if that made a difference or not).

Same as above. Completely turn off you phone. Then restart it and try all the steps again.

Looks Like I will have to live without it. I have tried all suggestions, no luck.

After it's paired to your Bluetooth, on your iPhone, go to Settings, Bluetooth. When you see your "Sync" device listed, click on the little circle "i" icon on the right side of the Sync entry. Turn on "Show Notifications". That's it.
Cool!

Thanks for posting the fix. I was just wondering about this as well.

No NO NO! Don't "just live with it"! You paid good money for your truck. Make sure all the features work that are supposed to work. If there are multiple people that can get it to work then you should be able to get yours to work as well. If you can't have the dealer do it and make sure they explain and show you how and why.

Hey everyone!

The iPhones have the ability to receive text messages through SYNC. Please follow the instructions and troubleshooting tips outline in this article: https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-...ur-iphone.html If you're still having issues, let me know.

I have done 100% of the steps listed in the how to video. I have turned notifications on, I have rebooted phone, I have paired, unpaired, paired again and nothing.

Not a single notification.

I have the Iphone 5s, I am on IOS 9.1 (13B143). I have AT&T, Model of my phone is MD638LL/A. Not sure what else to post, but it doesn't work. I have a 2015 XLT that is pretty loaded.

I have to go to the dealer on Wednesday because my Vehicle Health Report (on initial report) shows Urgent Brake issue, they told me it was a software thing when I took it in first time and they fixed it. Next day ran report again. Same issue. Getting frustrated.

Do you also have Show on Lock Screen turned on in your iPhone Notifications Setting? That was the one thing that tripped me up initially.

Before I drive myself crazy, does anybody know if this works in Canada?
