Sync 3 version 3.0 help

Default Sync 3 version 3.0 help

I had a strange thing happen over the weekend and I want to see if anyone else has experienced it or may have a solution? I have a 2018 Limited with Sync 3.0 and recently the icons or logos for the SiriusXM channels disappeared. Instead if the logos that were present each channel is now just shown in black script. I’ve tried everything to bring them back without success. Not a huge issue but annoying. Any ideas would be appreciated.

try a mater reset, and/or a battery disconnect to reboot the system.

I tried both. I also had SiriusXM send a refresh. Still no dice. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Someone else posted this also. One of the posters said they come back on there own. It's not a sync issue.

mine were fine till last week and now they're all gone, done a master reset, disconnect neg terminal and refreshed radio signal, still nothing. never called siriusxm yet, but that's prob a waste of time too

I would guess they are transmitted from Sirius just like FM stations transmit station letters and song information, so you could spend all day trying to make them come back but unless they are sent, they won't be there. Unless something changed in your truck, I can't see it being a truck issue.

Mine went to regular black font like 2 weeks ago. Used to be individual logos. Who knows..

Well I guess I’m not the only one with this issue. It was about two weeks ago when mine disappeared as well. At first I thought it was a truck issue but y’all have convinced me otherwise. I also agree that it would be pointless to contact SiriusXM. Hopefully, they will reappear soon on our trucks.

I called SiriusXM and they said it's not on their end. They said for me to check with dealer. Dealer doesn't know either only to disconnect battery. Well at least it's just not me. Maybe it's only the ones with the unoffical Sync updates...lol
