Same problem here with the BGMAP error. How many posts does one need before we can PM? With so many people having the same problem, it would be nice to upload this somewhere so everyone had access to his fix.

I was installing a nav update on my truck when it failed. The process got interrupted and now won't start again. I get the BGMAP_ERR01 message. I believe from reading the forum, it is likely due to the fact the update got interrupted and now not enough space exists to perform the update. In reading the posts, it looks like the answer is to delete the existing nav files on the truck and then start the process again. If my understanding it correct, Any help would be appreciated.

The "fix" works by overwriting the NAV files so you can replace them again with your install (it first breaks your navigation). Someone who shouldn't be using it (doesn't have a Nav install package in hand) might unknowingly install it. I get people PM'ing me with random unrelated errors wanting to install this fix thinking it will solve any problem. So it remains private.

I have been putting up with the Installation in Progress message for like 6 months after installing navigation 1 18. And MEM_ERR03 if I try and reinstall. How does one get the magic fix files?

I want to test a couple of APIMs on a bench with a radio does anyone here have a bench test setup they use? I tried to look at some CAN emulators but all the ones I found (even those stating to bench test Sync 2-3 APIMs) will not work. Being able to program an APIM outside a vehicle would be nice but not really what I need.

Unfortunately for some reason i am not able to send u a PM but can u help me with the BGMAP_ERR01 Error ? Bought me a 2016 Lariat and bought the map update from Ford i do have now this error that wont go away ?
