Default Switch Grille

I am looking for the best, most seamless, way to put the 2015 Platinum Grille (blacked out/PTM) on my new 2015 Lariat (Sport appearance package).

It is just a personal preference. The blocky grill for the Lariat looks great, do not get me wrong, but there is something about picturing the grille from the Platinum, all blacked out, on the Lariat instead.

I am thinking order the grille from the parts store and have it powder coated? Can I do that with the material the grille is made out of ?

Any ideas?

Picture is attached of what I am wanting....

Can't powder coat plastic. You would need to have it painted. I think the grille for a 2014 platinum was about $1200 from the dealer (just an example of what cost you may be looking at). Expect another $200-$300ish for paint. Other than that it should be a direct bolt in.

You might be able to just plasti dip it. It wouldn't be PTM but would still probably look pretty good.

I actually really like this idea and might have to steal it from you. I hate the Lariat grille and most aftermarket ones won't support the 360 camera. Perhaps swapping it out for a black platinum grille with a camera is the way to go.

It doesn't look like they have the 2015's yet, but this link might give you some idea of what is involved with a 2014 at least.

Also, I entirely forgot about the 2015 SEMA trucks that have painted (maybe wrapped?) platinum grilles:

Thank you for all of the responses....I will keep doing research and see what I come up with...will post pics when I do....I ordered the camera system, so that will probably be something that gives me a hiccup...

This is wrong, you can powder coat at least some plastics. The Powder Pro did intakes and stuff for LS parts. Quick google search will bring up some examples. Dont know how common it is other than that or whether that grill can be.

I've always assumed the part being powdered coated needs to be conductive,

Default What Tires and Rims are these?

The picture of the truck that started this post, that's exactly what I want my truck to look like. I'm new to all the custom rims and tire sizes. Can anyone help me out on what kind of rims those are, their size, and what kind of tires are with it. I really appreciate learning from all you guys!
