Default Stuck speedometer

Just noticed on my way home that my speedometer was stuck at 45 as 0. Any ideas? Or do i need to take it in?

There is a tsb on the speedo issues. Take it in and it will be replaced.

Mine was the opposite showing slower. Was wondering why everyone was driving slow!

You know, that clearly is the problem.

A quick look at a properly positioned f150 speedometer shows the needles at the same position.

Yeah, here's another thread on it - doesn't look like you are the first.

I believe I read Ford has to take the ODO reading at the time of the part order and makes the truck sit on their lot until it comes in because it has to be pre-ordered with the mileage.
