Default Stock Headlight Difference

Hey guys, new guy here. My name is Mike, I am located in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have always been into quick, turbo cars (Subarus, Mazdaspeeds, etc) but I am now getting the urge to get into a truck. I have always loved Tundras, but a buddy of mine got an EcoBoost and the second I got behind the wheel I knew that was the truck for me based off of the forced induction that I love so much. My question to you guys is, on the 15+ F-150s I know there are two different headlights. Obviously the base model comes with a halogen lamp and the top of the line trims (platinum and King Ranch) have LEDs (I think). However, I swear that I have seen trucks with the upgraded headlights that weren't platinums or King Ranches. Is there an option to get these lights on the lower level trims, like a Lariat? Sorry if this has been discussed before. I did a Google search and also a forum search and couldn't find anything, and Fords website was of no help either.

Yes, Lariat with the 502A package comes with the LEDs. That is the lowest model they are offered in.

Sweet. Thanks for the replies guys! This will definitely help me narrow my search. Sounds like a Lariat with the 502A Package is my new unicorn. The hunt begins. What else does the 502A package add?

Googles your friend, go to Ford.com, and build a f150. Its more fun that way, gives a better idea of what yah want, vs. What you can get!

For what it's worth IMHO. Going up to the 502A pkg is a waste of money if your only interested in LED headlights (unless your buying OEM and having them installed at the dealership) as an upgraded feature. I think when I was buyers my 16' it was well over $3000 to upgrade to the 502A. All for LED. Power adjusted steering heated rear seats an a few other things. Sorry can't recall. For me none were a must have as I find plan on riding in the back ever. Well maybe in a few fun situations. However. Getting off track. Second I can still use my hands so pretty sure I can adjust the steering if needed ( drive MY truck 99% so not required. LEDs look cool but not sue the OEM outperform aftermarket or even the Upgraded Halogen bulbs. Everything else that I need was an option that I could get in the 501A. Just som food for thought. Good luck.

Looking at Ford's web site, I would add the technology package for $500. The 360 cameras and ACC are worth it, IMHO.

Good luck with your search and enjoy the new truck !!
Isn't ACC a separate option? It was a standalone option priced at $1,250 on my truck:

Yep - you are correct !! I mistakenly listed the discount package for the ACC / 360 camera option group.

Sorry about that - I will correct my post.
