Is there any way to disable the start stop besides the button on dash? Not a big fan of it and would like to shut it off permanently.

 

You can buy Autostop eliminator, or simply unplug the wire by the brake module.

This little Gizmo is from Western Diesel and defaults the auto stop/start to the off position with the option of turning it back on with the button. Like it as it allows me to let the turbo on my 3.0 PS to cool down/spool down without having to fiddle with the button. Cost is nominal at around $50 and installation takes about 10 minutes.

I don't believe anybody has wanted to disable it on their truck.
