Start Stop
I’ll tell you what I did on my 2019 Single Cab
Under the dash at the top and to the left of the brake pedal - there is a white box with three wire clips plugged into it.
If you simply unplug the small bottom connector (this is for trailer brake lights) and the auto start stop turns off. Just remember to plug it back in for towing or dealer visits.
Additionally you can disconnect the battery maintenance system in the negative battery terminal. I like the battery maintenance system so I opted for the trailer brake lights.
I’ve had mine unplugged for a year with no problems.

For those of us who aren't ready yet to disable BMS, and who tow frequently so disconnecting the cable under the dash is extremely annoying... I personally bought the Auto Start/Stop eliminator. To me, worth the coin involved to retain all features and not stick my head up under the dash every weekend.
I was doing this, you are right, works perfect. I do have a Travel Trailer so need to plug in for lights to work. I became nervous that if I damage that cheap *** little plug, would I be able to replace it? I looked for a replacement plug high and low, and concluded I would have to buy the harness to replace that cheap plug meant only to use maybe 5-10X in it's useful life. I bit the bullet and bought the Autostop eliminator. If the OP does not plan to tow much, or only plans to own the truck a few years, I certainly would just unplug it.
