I ordered a XL with carpet & the backup camera along with a bunch of other goodies.

Going on 2 months since it was built but not released yet. Still not certified I am told.

I am surprised or maybe not by what car and driver said about the fuel economy. Way off the mark . .

Truck 2 was ordered November 3rd and no build date yet but was told middle of July for a delivery date. Estimated mid june build. Do have VIN now.

"Unfortunately, the 2.7 EcoBoost’s EPA fuel-economy ratings of 18 mpg city and 23 mpg highway don’t translate to the real world. We averaged 16 mpg over more than 1000 miles of mixed winter driving, and we didn’t load the bed with car parts, tow a trailer, or disable the overly aggressive stop-start engine function."

I heard through a source that there are physical production issues with the Reg Cab trucks and many were destroyed as a result.

I don't mind waiting for something I want, but to not get some kind of timeline on this after 4 months is surprising to me.

No doubt major issues that ford does not want the public to know!

One of the local dealer' RCSB trucks ordered back in October is finally on the way to PHX. It was well over 2 months it sat on fords lot being held up.

Looks like the 3.5L std engine trucks have been released.

Delivery date shows 3 more days so will probably check it out . .

My truck was built nearly 2 months ago now its probably been a scrapped one . .LOL

Ford will give the dealer ZERO info on its status

I was told I would be getting a call from a regional ford person long ago. Another promise not kept . .

I wish they would just give me a status what is really going on then I could make a decision if I still want the truck when it shows. Losing interest fast . . .

I ordered a RCSB 2.7. Someone at Ford after I called Ford yesterday, called my shop today and told the guy that answered the phone that my truck would be built on June 23. You can take that for what it's worth. I suspect not much. I have been told that several times before.

Wow! My eyes have been so trained at looking at Crew and extended cabs, that thing looks tiny! Bet it will haul *** with a 2.7 though.

The one in the pic above is 4wd. The 2wd has smaller blackwall tires.

I'm over 2 months waiting for my RCSB now. I have nothing to complain about, I don't need it yet, just want it.
