Well figure this would probably go out the door for say 36 or 37, the XLT has more options and cost more than the STX did and 4wd is like $4500. So all considered it's really not that bad.

The XL sport is what replaced the STX.

Yes, but the XL sport is so spartan compared to the old STX. Best wheels you can get are ugly 17's. 18's are not available, and the best cab steps you can get with the 101 package are plastic. My truck has the stainless tubes. Many of the standard/package items are now separate options. The XL sport is a step backwards from The STX.

I actually like the look of the XL sport, the wheels and painted bumpers with foglights look nice to me. But you have to buy the interior package with power windows and sync for $2000 to be able to order the $700 XL sport exterior package. I didn't want any of that inside, so I didn't get the sport.

Yeah, I've only seen one or two of the '15 Silverado Regular cabs; only two of the '15 Sierra Regular cabs and those were business-owned trucks. Probably going to see regular cab trucks being phased out over the next few years. Hell, GM doesn't even make the new twins, Colorado and Canyons, in regular cab anymore.

My 2.7 RCSB Sport is on its way

Shows 12 days until delivery. It will be nearly 8 months of a wait.

Truck was actually built in March. Ford would not say why it was held back.

After this long of a wait its hard to be excited anymore. So many times I was told next week, next week. Ford cried wolf a few too many times . .

Mine is pretty well loaded with exact options I wanted for a XL.

Equipped this way it should be under 30k OTD

Trucks built in March probably were held for the steering shaft recall issue.

You're lucky you got it at all.

Ford now says 15 RC ordering is closed. Orders scheduled will know by the 17th if they will be built or canceled.

My order is scheduled, but no vin. It looks like mine might be canceled. Even if they do build it it won't be built until July or August. If I get a date and vin I will probably stick with my order, if not I am cancelling. Waiting 2 more months on a maybe isn't worth it and I can't wait for a 16.

I'm looking into dealer trades now instead. Worst case if I can't get a trade, I will just have to go buy one somewhere else. There are RCSB on the lots. I don't think I can get D plan at another dealer, but maybe X?

Makes no sense at all since job 1 of the RCSB 5.0 is 7/6, but I would not buy a 15 this late in the year anyway.

Lots of things with the 15 F150 ordering and building make no sense lately.

You can't order any more RC and the ones scheduled will be prioritized and possibly cancelled.

There are 2 RCSB F150 5.0 on cars.com right now. Maybe pre-production?

I can't wait for the 16. They won't even take orders until August and it starts snowing here sometimes in late October. I need a 4wd truck by the first snow and it's just cutting it too close for me.

Thanks for the heads up on the 16's I know what I want but the color is all ways the hardest for me.

I play it safe all the time greys and silvers.

I am really leaning towards bronze fire this time.

Just seen one on the road yesterday supercab and it looked real nice with the chrome.

I want to keep my chrome wheels from my 13 xlt since I have a new set of goodyear duratracks on them.

Everything I have read so far they should be ok on the 16'S
