Should I do it?
well, DUH!
, smart move, especially given what they are offering for your Tahoe..Always remember, the deal actually on the table is the only real true measure of value and what the dealer is prepared to do, not what "experts" on the interwbz tell you it "should" be. At the end of the day only you can decide if it works for you
So today I went by Gwinnett Place Ford to talk about a Lariat. I have this specific one in mind. I got them down to $45k (without manager approval yet) but needed a little more time to think about it. This is the window sticker...

I'm thinking of going back Saturday to seal the deal. What do you experts think? I haven't bought a new car in 11 years lol.

Amazing.
That's like $6 or $7K below what I had to fight to get anywhere in the Midwest just this past July.
So I just found this one:

It's about 280 miles from the dealer I was talking to the other day. The only thing it's missing that I want is the integrated brake controller. Is this an easy add on? It seems plug and play from what I've read... I'm not sure if they can do a dealer transfer from that far away.
Just trying to save a couple grand over a totally loaded out model.

Do it. I bought my 15 f150 yesterday. 13 to 14 off that bottom msrp is pretty standard. All I know is the 2 trucks I wanted sold in a day. When I was in finance, the "I just bought a new truck gong" went off about 7 times. Point is, if you don't buy the truck you want, the guy pulling up in the lot right when you leave will pay more for it.
