Default Should I do it?

So today I went by Gwinnett Place Ford to talk about a Lariat. I have this specific one in mind. I got them down to $45k (without manager approval yet) but needed a little more time to think about it. This is the window sticker...

I'm thinking of going back Saturday to seal the deal. What do you experts think? I haven't bought a new car in 11 years lol.

That's a great price! Are you trading something in?

I have a 2005 ranger 3.0 v6 edge 2wd manual reg cab with about 125k on it. I'd say Fair condition.

Just read an article from autoblog and they are claiming they heard rumours Ford will be doing a massive "Friends and Neighbors" pricing deal. Might be good to wait or maybe take a peak at the article

We didn't discuss a trade in any detail.

That's definitely better than the friends and neighbor promo coming up. Did they give you a breakdown on pricing? Rebates, discounts, etc.

Does that $45k include your trade?

$45k is just the number he threw at me in a last ditch effort to get me to buy today.

I bet they are trying to make their end of month quota. I got a similar deal under those circumstances with no trade.
