Should I do it?
Ask if you can see the dealer invoice price. If the price that you are looking at is near the invoice price, then that is a good price. Also, plug the price and options into trucar.com to see what others have paid in your area.
No, they are screwing you, probably charging you for a tank of fuel and advertising. Guys here getting them for 20k below invoice, everyone knows the dealer has at least a 20k profit margin you dont know about.....
OK, but in the real world, away from the interwebz,
that is a pretty decent price since discounts on lariats have bene less common than the fire sales on XLTs

Im in the same boat. I have a dealer wanting to sell me their floor model blue jean platinum with 23 miles on the clock for 10k off sticker with 43k for my tahoe trade. This is loaded with the tech pkg and the self park. I have a friend right now pulling me an x plan number. He wants me to pick it up sat. I might hold out till monday tho to see the new rebates. I read on bloomburg that Fields emailed the dealers pushing them hard for the 4th qtr.

I'm debating now whether or not to bother with a trade. If they give me a great deal on the price of the vehicle, I know they won't be as inclined to give me jack schitt for my ranger.
